What kind of updating does icy.pl have? I mean for the news. Do you update it manually (with html)? Or with some kind of Php of CGI thing?

Seems that SaleiB doesn't visit this section often, so I'll answer instead of him (can I??). ;] It's all made in Java Script, news, highscores and some other scripts uses automatically (by PHP) uploaded data from .js's.

Well, You would have to combine JS and PHP which would be completely complicated and difficult, I would like to see how you did that...

And AFAIK PHP is used only to write specific text in specific file, so I don't think it would be so difficult...

I know. I just don't see any reason for JavaScript in this case. You could use php to do it MUCH better. Now I have heard Salieb say she only programs JavaScript, I don't even see how you COULD use JavaScript in any use unless you were the most clueless person on the web. I just don't understand how you could use JavaScript in that case. I would like to see how you did it

In my opinion at Icy.pl beginning reason was very simple - no good PHP server. ;] And when we finally found it not-in-Poland ( ), there would be too much troubles with quick rewriting all news system...

Yeah, Kool. You should switch to PHP if you know how to program it though... It is much easier and better than JavaScript
